Accountant

ACCOUNTANT

Full-time, onsite in Irondale, AL  (not remote eligible)

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

The Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of standard, technical, accounting functions including analysis, preparation, and maintenance of routine and non-routine entries to the general ledger of EWTN. The Accountant assists in the preparation of interim financial statements, undertakes special projects and/or reports as directed by management, and works closely with management in preparation of annual audits by the independent auditors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Review source documents used for accounting, maintenance of ledgers, registers and other records of initial entry, and preparation of periodic and special financial reports, budgets, and maintains fiscal records applying professional accounting principles and methods.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily EWTN cash counts and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts.
  • Prepare special account analyses and financial reports as directed by management.
  • Prepare and enter general journal entries and adjustments, with detailed backup; analyze variance reports; and assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial budgets.
  • Responsible for inter-organization transaction with related parties, including billings and reconciliation of inter-organization accounts.
  • Participate in the monthly financial closing process as directed by management.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all general ledger accounts.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of prior accounting experience.
  • You have strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles and practices
  • You have excellent analytical ability to process routine data rapidly, efficiently and in accordance with prescribed goals and policies
  • You enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment
  • You are independent bearing with the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • You demonstrate a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • You have a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel and Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Administrative Assistant

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Full-time, onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL or Washington, DC. Not remote-eligible. 

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Administrative Assistant, you will support the Executive Director and the management team of the National Catholic Register. You’ll take the lead on all administrative duties including customer service, budget planning, processing vendor invoices, managing paid-time-off schedules, arranging travel, and coordinating meetings - directly impacting and improving our operational effectiveness!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide customer care through telephone, email and mail regarding subscriptions, donations, advertising, and editorial questions, including customer service and readership complaints. 
  • Attend meetings as requested; take notes, transcribe, and distribute relevant materials; manage logistics for the set-up of conference calls, remote video meetings, and in-person meetings to include technology needs, travel arrangements, catering, agendas, etc.
  • Interact with editorial staff to process expense reports, manages the team’s time-off calendar, coordinate News credentials, renew subscriptions etc. 
  • Process invoices, assist in preparing budgets and financial reports.
  • Manages and supports news subscriptions and membership fulfillment.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and hardcopy files and records, including the Register’s archive.
  • Provide editorial support, transcribing interviews, mailing books for review, responding to publishing requests.  

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of prior administrative experience with a demonstrated intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You possess exceptional organizational skills, a meticulous level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in fast-paced, changing environments. 
  • You possess strong internet research skills.
  • You display outstanding interpersonal skills and thrive in environments where you interact with all levels of staff/management, as well as outside representatives, vendors, and guests.

Booker - Planning Editor (Washington DC)

BOOKER / PLANNING EDITOR (NEWS NIGHTLY)

Full-time, onsite in Washington, D.C. Not remote-eligible. 

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Booker/Planning Editor, you will be responsible for researching and scheduling guests for discussion segments for EWTN News Nightly and finalize all necessary details between guests and the control room. The Booker/Planning Editor will also manage the newsroom’s editorial calendar and daily agenda.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Book qualified guests, conduct preliminary interviews, and conduct technical tests. 
  • Build and foster relationships with potential guests, press contacts, Congressional staff, and Catholic contacts in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and continue development of existing database of contacts.
  • Serve as host to visiting guests; greet upon arrival and escort through the News Nightly studio.
  • Manage daily agenda; communicate details to entire bureau to include a rundown of EWTN News Nightly activities on a daily basis.
  • Research potential guests and stories; pitch guest and content ideas to Senior Producer and ENN editorial team during daily planning meetings.
  • Collaborate with team to assist in achieving relevant, compelling news content and presentation. 
  • Keep track of upcoming events, hearings, press conferences, and seminars in the Washington, D.C. area that may make for compelling segments.
  • Work with Senior Producer and ENN editorial team to manage calendar of current story coverage and timelines. 
  • Provide back-up support to Associate Producer to produce segments, as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a Newsroom environment.
  • You are a practicing Catholic, with demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the faith and EWTN’s mission, including how it relates to stories being covered. 
  • You have a strong knowledge and commitment to the Catholic faith and EWTN’s mission; knowledge of how it applies to stories being covered.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills with a meticulous level of attention to detail.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills, to include verbal, written, and active listening necessary to represent EWTN in a professional and engaging manner.

Cash Management Specialist

CASH MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Full-time, onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL. Not remote eligible.

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Cash Management Specialist, you’ll apply your analytical mind and accounting skills to help balance the general ledger, reconcile daily cash flow, and detect and prevent misappropriation of cash. By ensuring accuracy, you’ll be directly impacting the bottom line by maximizing financial effectiveness for the Network.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Reconcile daily cash transactions for EWTN, Religious Catalogue, News, and Publishing entities, and record revenues to Daily Cash Report, for all bank accounts. 
  • Record Credit Card and other online revenue, prepare weekly and monthly financial reports. 
  • Dive into balance and income sheets, debits/credits, and monitor and analyze all journal entries. 
  • Prepare weekly summary of available cash for internal management review.
  • Work directly with Financial Managers to resolve outstanding issues on bank reconciliation and improve accuracy. 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have worked at least 3 years in a cash management, bookkeeping, accounting, or financial service role.
  • You have a solid understanding of working with debits/credits, balance and income sheets, and are comfortable recording cash transactions.
  • You have reconciled bank accounts before, and know your way around a general ledger. 
  • You get excited about financial reports, and have working knowledge of general ledger accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar. 
  • You are organized, analytical, with attention to detail, and can maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality.

  • You have taken Accounting coursework or are working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree.

  • You'll be the face of EWTN by answering audience questions via various forms of communication, including telephone, internet and written correspondence.

D.C. Correspondent (CNA)

D.C. CORRESPONDENT (Catholic News Agency)

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the D.C. Correspondent, you will be responsible for producing news articles and other journalistic reporting as assigned by editors. You’ll have the opportunity to represent the Catholic News Agency at various functions and events, growing the Network’s relationship with apostolates through television and radio appearances and collaborative community functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Produce one to two news articles per day on current events of national interest or local relevancy, including but not limited to topics surrounding: USCCB, Catholic Charities, pro-life, religious freedom, immigration and poverty legislation, HHS mandate, foreign policy, bioethics, etc. 
  • Cover press briefings, legislative hearings, civic and community functions, and Catholic liturgical or cultural events. Take photographs and organize images as needed. 
  • Conduct research, consult experts for background, develop a network of sources and contacts, and conduct interviews as appropriate.
  • Improve community engagement on CNA social media platforms through timely reporting and event presence.

  • You possess a familiarity with contemporary social, political, and religious issues, and have a basic liberal arts formation in theology, philosophy, and history.
  • You have the ability to analyze current events in relation to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • You possess strong writing skills and journalistic knowledge to include an above average proficiency in English, with a firm grasp of grammar, usage, and syntax.

Director of Marketing

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Full-time, onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL. Not remote-eligible. 

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Director of Marketing, you’ll establish departmental objectives and work with the Regional Marketing Managers to execute country-specific strategies to expand public awareness of EWTN’s programming and content. The Director of Marketing will lead direct consumer and event marketing campaigns and develop ongoing relationships to cultivate support from Church leaders, industry executives, key lay organizations, and volunteers to increase consumer engagement with our media apostolate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain and grow the distribution of EWTN media through the ongoing development of strong relationships with affiliated and non-affiliated distributors. 
  • Manage Marketing CRM and other databases; prepare data files for database upload, analyze and ensure ongoing accuracy of database of worldwide distributors (dioceses, parishes, volunteers, etc.), and execute database extractions to generate targeted email campaigns and direct mailings as needed.
  • Develop and execute conventional and digital media advertising plans.
  • Coordinate network participation in selected domestic and international trade shows/conventions/events, including shipment of materials and exhibits. 
  • Plan large multi-departmental events, such as the EWTN Family Celebration, including venue coordination, vendor management, contract negotiations, budgeting, departmental communication, promotional plans, and timelines. 
  • Assist in the creation of annual department budget and monitor monthly financial statements for overages and prompt payment of invoices.
  • Maintain a current level of understanding of the Catholic Church and other organizations willing to assist in marketing the Network.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in corporate or consumer marketing, media management or related field.
  • You hold a working knowledge of the current media industry, traditional media and digital advertising, and experience using social media and e-marketing campaigns and analytics.   
  • You can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, research information, meet project deadlines, analyze problems, and select proper course of action.
  • You possess strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional tact and courtesy.  
  • You can demonstrate strong supervisory skills and the ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and have experience working with CRM or PRM database software.
  • You are able to lift, move and transport boxes up to 50 pounds.
  • You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport, with the ability to drive to events as necessary, and are able to travel 15 - 25% of the year via automobile and air, with periodic overnight and weekend stays as required. 
  • You are a practicing Catholic with demonstrated knowledge of the Catholic Church and Catholic organizations and are aligned with EWTN’s Mission with a desire to promote the Network’s media content.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Trade show, conference, and event management experience is a plus!
  • Contract negotiation and management experience is a plus! 
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field.

As the Donation Processing Specialist you’ll be responsible for reviewing and processing donation correspondence, records and reconciles donations and updates donor database records. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Process donations using the Mavro Imaging system and the EWTN fundraising CRM.
  • Route donor correspondence for further review and action.
  • Prepare reports on donation processing as requested.
  • Perform work diligently and accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and EWTN fundraising performance and methods.
  • Maintain security of donor payment information and methods.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum 1-2 years of fundraising donation processing or data entry experience.

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Editor-in-Chief works with the Executive Director to establish the editorial vision and related strategy for the National Catholic Register and manages the editorial team to accomplish strategic goals. Oversees the production and publication of all content for the Register’s media platforms. Provides quality control on all content, ensuring journalistic accuracy, theological soundness, and effective distribution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to strategic planning and implements vision for the Register; Sets tone, style, scope, and editorial direction in continuity with plan and vision.
  • Directs production of all Register content including article angle and scope, assigning, editing and final publication.
  • Leads editorial team including editors, writers, contractors, graphic artists and other personnel in planning day-to-day editorial coverage including news, features, analysis, and opinion content. 
  • Responsible for accuracy, journalistic quality, and theological soundness of published content; Monitors articles for legal, ethical, and theological concerns and consults with the Executive Director on questionable content.
  • Ensures constant diversity of perspective (within bounds of Catholic magisterium) in reporting and approach to news (what to cover when, how, and from what angle); provides context, balance, and clarity; includes Catholic historical and catechetical backdrop whenever possible.
  • Supervises the content that the Register delivers on social media be it proprietary or from other EWTN partners.
  • Monitors reports on readership statistics and assists in strategizing on how to increase reach and engagement.
  • Works with Executive Director to recruit, hire, motivate and manage the editorial team, including freelance talent; Provides regular feedback, constructive advice on improvement as needed, and training for staff. 
  • Delegates responsibilities and sees that tasks are completed.
  • Edits copy on sensitive matters or content of strategic significance.
  • Writes editorials, occasional interviews or articles for the publication.
  • Reviews and manages editorial guidelines, policies, schedules and related compliance; Maintains effective editorial workflow using available technologies.
  • Cultivates sources and commentators; Maintains regular contact with Catholic bishops, intellectuals and leaders in order to guarantee fluid relationships.
  • Establishes editorial advisors to provide expertise, information and content on various subject areas including bioethics, politics, Church history, moral theology, philosophy, general legal, and canon law.
  • Collaborates with counterparts at EWTN News on news coverage and content distribution, especially Catholic News Agency (”CNA”).
  • Assists Executive Director and Director of Operations with editorial budget planning and manages the editorial budget.
  • Manages reader relations and publication’s image.
  • Represents the Register at meetings and events and in the media as necessary.

WHAT SKILLS/TALENTS WILL THE IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESS?

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Journalism or Communications. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Management/Leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of and faithful practice of Roman Catholic faith.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with colleagues and readers diplomatically.
  • Ability to delegate assignments efficiently, provide clear expectations, manage production for quality, and ensure all deadlines are met.

Payroll Assistant

PAYROLL ASSISTANT

As the Payroll Assistant, you’ll support the Payroll Supervisor with processing the bi-weekly multi-state payroll for EWTN employees.  You’ll dive into day-to-day payroll activities and provide support to the Financial Managers on various reporting and payroll projects, directly improving operational effectiveness.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist with timely bi-weekly payroll processing and transactions (salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions and taxes), through our payroll system (ADP Workforce Now, transitioning to UltiPro HRIS). 
  • Administer EWTN Paid Time Off (PTO), Extended Sick Leave Bank, and Employee Loan program disbursements; submit time and labor reports. 
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment tax requirements and court-ordered wage garnishment orders.
  • Reconcile various payroll-related general ledger accounts, provide payroll audit reports.
  • Work with the Human Resources team and the Financial Managers on various new hire orientation, benefits, leave of absences, and financial projects as needed.  

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have 2 to 4 years of payroll administration experience, specifically with multistate reporting.
  • You can demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • You’ve developed the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of groups and individuals, with a helpful and patient disposition. 
  • You are an excellent communicator, and able to practice discretion with sensitive data/records.

The Printing and Mailing Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative and technical print services for outbound mail that supports donor stewardship efforts.  The position is key in helping EWTN meet quality, efficiency and donor experience goals, ensuring all projects (welcome letters, acknowledgements, day-of-prayer, tax receipts, special mailings) are produced according to printing, production and shipping specs and meet delivery deadlines. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

General/Administrative:

  • Stay up to date on printing requirements and postal regulations.
  • Maintain personal productivity and quality standards.
  • Develop procedures to improve print, production and mailing efficiencies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Printing and Mailing Supervisor and members of the Mission Advancement team, informing and updating regularly to guarantee that quality and donor experience objectives are met.
  • Ensure reporting and job recordkeeping requirements are met.
  • Maintain relationships with printing and mailing vendors to maintain equipment and ensure competitive pricing.

Printing and Mailing Operations:

  • Review print requests, organize and implement a work schedule for processing print jobs – both ongoing and special requests.
  • Set up, operate and trouble shoot all printing and production equipment.
  • Oversee ink and paper quality, assuring that postal specifications are met and image is clean and clear.
  • Audit production output quality, investigate and initiate corrective action on substandard jobs.
  • Perform and coordinate outgoing postal sortation, traying mail, understanding mail categories and classes and mailing permit applications.
  • Maintain inventory of paper, envelopes, bindery supplies, toner and consumables.
  • Order supplies and verify accuracy of billing, reconciling to budget.

As the Producer-Editor, you will coordinate creative and logistical aspects for various types of EWTN productions including specials, series, live shows, special events, and Daily Mass, both onsite in our studio and in the field!

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Take the lead on overall program production-related activities from concept to final product.
  • Contract talent, organize scripts, assist with crew scheduling for daily production needs.
  • Coordinate with Set Designer regarding set requirements and with Creative Services Department on graphic requirements.
  • Obtain transportation and housing for production guests, ensure logistics have been met. 
  • Secure performance releases and copyright clearances for each production. 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in broadcast/cable TV production/programming.
  • You have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • You are proficient with planning, organizing, setting goals, analyzing & fact gathering, with a strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • You can demonstrate a sound understanding of the Catholic Faith, the Magisterium, and how they relate to the programming goals of the network.
  • You have strong editing skills in either Adobe Premiere or Avid. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or equivalent professional experience
  • Field Production experience, especially camera operating is a huge plus.

SR. NETWORK & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Sr. Network & Systems Administrator, you'll take the lead in maintaining the operation, integrity, and security of EWTN’s Data Center, including the Server Farm, Storage Facilities, and Cloud Platform. Your watchful dedication will directly protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential, and by maintaining the highest quality network for EWTN. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assume responsibility for the operations of the Data Center(s) - to ensure server farm, cloud platforms, backup, and storage facilities are kept up to date by best practices. This includes: operating system upgrades and patches, 3rd party software patches, SQL upgrades and patches, firmware updates, and security patches.
  • Report on network performance, connectivity issues, and hardware issues. 
  • Analyze Application connectivity and performance within the server farm and 3rd party applications. Present metrics and make recommendations to the Director of Information Services.
  • Optimize network performance through analysis, and performance tuning. Troubleshoot network problems such as utilization, throughput, and latency. 
  • Maintain a secured network by following established IS Policies and Procedures and alert the Director of any violations (includes confidential information only known to the IS Administrative staff).
  • Maintain the Microsoft Exchange Cloud Environment along with the Archival Storage Facility.
  • Work closely and mentor the Jr. Network Administrator on day-to-day operations and notifications of upgrades to the Support Center.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or an Associates’ degree with 5 years’ Network and Systems Administrator experience in an enterprise Data center environment.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Server hardware and software installation and maintenance within an enterprise environment (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies).
  • You also have 3 years’ experience with Exchange Online, Azure, and Office 365 platforms within an enterprise environment.
  • You would describe yourself has having expert knowledge of maintaining an Enterprise storage platform, and of server hardware/software configurations and industry best practices for security and PCI.
  • You would classify yourself has having strong experience with Tape Libraries environments utilizing Backup software such as Symantec, and of having up-to-date knowledge of Industry Best Practices. 
  • Some of your most dominant soft skills include: information gathering, problem-solving, adaptability to change, ability to prioritize and multi-task, a passion for accuracy and thoroughness, ability to maintain confidentiality, and excellent written and oral communication skills. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • A knowledge of the Catholic faith and an affinity for EWTN’s mission.
  • Desire to continue education or self/education in the computer technology area.
  • Experience with hardware clustering and virtualization including Hyper-V and/or VMWare would be helpful.
  • Experience working with VOIP technology would be a plus.

Supervising Video Editor (Washington DC)

SUPERVISING VIDEO EDITOR

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As the Supervising Video Editor, you will supervise the team of editors for daily newscast, social media, promotional material, and marketing content, including responsibility for newscast technical quality control, set-up and operation of all editing equipment, video, and audio sources to provide broadcast-quality programming.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Professionally edit using Avid Media Composer software.
  • Assign and supervise the daily responsibilities of the edit staff.
  • Observe and correct each show record, implements systems to ensure the highest broadcast quality standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship for editors, freelancers, producers, and correspondents to ensure consistency with network quality standards.
  • Work with direct reports to optimize b-roll and elements library.
  • Optimize workflow and communication to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Supervise the final assembly of each program and social media clips; encodes and uploads programs to EWTN’s web page and YouTube channel.
  • Compile and maintain files for all trouble reports related to equipment; ensure proper communication of said reports with the Studio Operation Manager and engineering.
  • Consistently participate in scheduled editorial meeting by attending in person or virtually.
  • Maintain the monthly scheduling of staff and freelance editors. 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have 7-10 years of prior experience working within a TV Newsroom environment, preferrable within an editing role; three to five years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • You are a strong team-player mentality with outstanding interpersonal skill to work successfully with various Producers and show staff simultaneously.
  • You have proven ability to work independently and demonstrate strong judgment.
  • You proactively maintain knowledge of industry standards, (linear and non-linear, digital, and analog), and trends related to post-production.
  • You have the ability to analyze workflow problems and work with editors and engineering to correct in a timely manner. 
  • You possess intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
  • You work calmly under deadline in a fast-paced TV broadcast newsroom with its ever-evolving requirements.
  • You have strong knowledge of the Catholic faith and alignment to EWTN’s mission with ability to apply to stories being covered; practicing Catholic preferred.

Video Editor (Washington DC)

TITLE:               Video Editor

REPORTS TO:    Studio Operations Manager

DEPARTMENT:  News Production

LOCATION:        Washington, D.C. (not remote eligible)

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Video Editor is responsible for the editing and assembling of recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics and special effects. In addition, the Video Editor will be responsible for exporting and uploading show segments and materials online for social media and other platforms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edits video packages and show elements using Avid Media Composer in coordination with the other members of the editing team and show producers.
  • Operates computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects.
  • Assign daily video editor duties and assignments for videographers/reporters
  • Ensures all projects are completed in a timely manner, adhering to all existing technical and stylistic protocols.
  • Improves video and sound quality using various video software.
  • Exports, uploads, and delivers show materials.
  • Proactively maintains knowledge of industry standards, (linear and non-linear, digital, and analog) and trends related to post-production field.
  • Flexibility to work adjusted schedule as needed.

WHAT SKILLS/TALENTS WILL THE IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESS?

  • Minimum five years of experience working in broadcast/cable news production; minimum of three years of experience working in field production or similar environment.
  • Experience in Avid, Adobe, and Ross products is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to take direction from multiple decision makers and work independently when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of project scope and implementation.
  • Ability to collaborate well with others.
  • Ability to analyze problems and take the initiative to correct when appropriate.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith and alignment with EWTN’s mission (practicing Catholic preferred).

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or other relevant field of study is required; a combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
